Fridge manufacturers have been doing battle with technology to counter the claims of environment activist that their manufacturing process including the gases used in to cool the fridges damage the ozone layer. As the battle for Heathrow’s third runway rages, the two camps; those in favour and those against are invoking environment concerns to make their case.
