Carbon offset Wedding

Steve Winmill and his fiancée Delia Yapp who ties the knots on Saturday the 23rd of December 2006 are reported by their local paper, The Hereford Times to be (possibly) the first couple in the United Kingdom to have a carbon-offset wedding. Money will be paid to offset the carbon cost of the wedding. The money will be paid to Mr Winmill's employer, Marches Energy Agency who runs a carbon offsetting business. Money paid to offset carbon emission are used to provide energy saving devices and promote energy efficiency awareness.
